• The San Juan Police Department is investigating an overnight aggravated robbery. Two men walked into a (Stripes) store at 101 West Nolana around 2:38 Monday morning. One suspect was wearing a white long-sleeve shirt, blue bandana, black pants and black shoes. The other suspect was wearing blue jeans, white shoes, a grey or brown long-sleeve shirt, black baseball cap and red clothing to cover his face. One of the men was armed a rifle. They ordered the clerk to the ground, and they stole cigarettes and beer.   • On Tuesday June 16, 2015 (Walgreens) located on 824 N. “I” Road San Juan, Texas a suspect made an unauthorized purchase in the store for the total amount $327.90 using Credit Cards.   • Tuesday, June 16, 2015 4:35 am, at 711 N. Nebraska Rd. (Stripes) a male subject walk into the Stripes and head straight to the beer cooler. Subject was medium built; medium complected, was wearing a blue and white stripe shirt, blue jeans and several tattoos on both arms and a tear drop tattoo under his left eye. Subject grab two 18 packs of Budweiser beer and attempt to flee but the clerk asked him to stop and leave the items. Male then continue towards the exit door, as he approached the door subject assaulted on the clerk thus committing a Robbery.   • San Juan Police Officers were dispatched to several thefts of motor vehicles in the south side area of San Juan.  We have had several burglaries and stolen vehicles. This is the suspect that has been seen crossing those vehicles into Mexico. The male has crossed with an unknown female and a small child. It is unknown if they are on a vehicle or on foot.

  • On May 15, 2015 at about 9:41 AM Officer made contact with a female subject who identified herself as Rosa Guerra at the San Juan Police Lobby. Rosa stated she wanted to file a missing persons report on her husband by the name of Perfecto Ramirez 8/24/67. Rosa stated that she has not seen her husband since Sunday, May 10, 2015 after having arrived home from a dance at El Aragon dance hall located on Nolana Rd in McAllen, TX.  Perfecto was last seen driving a 2003 orange Ford Expedition with paper tags (59G1000).  If you have any information on this crime, please call the San Juan Crime Stoppers at (956) 283-8477.   • On Wednesday May 6, 2015, San Juan police Officers were dispatched to 1701 N. Raul Longoria Rd. (Sprites) in reference to Hit and Run Accident. A woman reported a Hispanic male subject accompany with a female and children driving a sliver in color Dodge Ram 1500 unknown license plates reverse and struck her vehicle. The truck has damage to the rear bumper and has a spare tire to the right front. The truck also has tinted windows, stock rims, and chrome tubular side steps.   • On Monday, February 16, 2015, San Juan Police Officers were dispatched to 714 W. 7th St. in reference to an aggravated robbery.  A woman reported a male subject described as tall, medium built, long brown hair, long brown beard, medium complexion, and wearing shorts with a long sleeve charcoal grey sweater with no hoodie.Stolen was a white 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 4dr, displaying Texas license plates (AA56823), VIN# 3GCEC23079G184723.  The truck has damage on the front bumper, rear tailgate and rear bumper.   • The San Juan Police Department is investigating two auto thefts that occurred in San Juan, Texas. The first auto theft occurred on July 7th, 2014 while the second occurred on October 28th, 2014. Video surveillance obtained shows what appears to be the same male subject crossing the vehicle into Mexico. In one of the photos the male subject appears to be with a female and two children. The San Juan Police department is asking for assistance in identifying the persons in the video, anyone having any information is urged to contact the San Juan Police Department Crime Stoppers hotline at 956-283-TIPS(8477).

  • On Thursday March 27, 2014, San Juan Police Officers were dispatched to 901 W. Expressway 83 in reference to a theft.  Victim reported a male subject with dark complexion, 5’08” in height, having a goatee, wearing a black cap, red shirt, and brown shorts who stole beer.  The subject placed five twenty-four packs of beer inside a shopping cart and walked out without making an attempt to pay for them.  The subject was approached by employees while in the parking lot and asked for his receipt.  The subject presented them with an old receipt.

  • On Thursday March 20, 2014, San Juan Police Officers were dispatched to 1229 S. I Rd. in reference to a burglary of a vehicle.  Victim reported that someone broke into his grey in color Ford F-150 and stole a bookbag from his truck.  Inside the bookbag was a black in color 16 gb Ipad (serial #tjpruyf182) valued at $479.00.  The Ipad is PSJA ISD property.

  • On Monday February 24, 2014, San Juan Police Officers were dispatched to 500 E. Moore in reference to a theft.  Three (3) solar panels were stolen from the business along with a bracket used to hold the solar panel in place.  The offense happened on Sunday February 23, 2014 at about 1:00 a.m.
